Missed last week’s Photojournalism class due to high spirits and good food at the wedding.
The assignment dealt with capturing differences in shooting daylight versus night-light.
Standing at the feet of Samuel Champlain at Nepean Point, looking across the mighty Ottawa, to the government buildings next to the Museum of Civilization (or whatever it is in its reincarnation).
Cassandra & Mike spent a 30 hr. (or so) weekend at a local restaurant creating this masterpiece.

This is an art piece at city hall – a distorted door, etc.
On suggestion of Mark, a fellow clubber, & remembering Freeman Patterson’s penchant for it, I set a long exposure and twirled the camera. Not enough exposure, so I added a flash at the end to brighten things up.
Some fall foliage – well, it looks fall – like.
This little fellow (still haven’s found him) came in with the house plants when first frost threatened. The web is getting thicker – guess there’s less prey inside.
