Playing with my favorite toy on a gloomy afternoon.
Multiple exposures work best with a black background. Light backgrounds make for a ghostly image of the main (moving) subject.
I did (re)learn a few things about camera settings thanks to the trusty dog eared manual.

Sidewinder

Saturday night in country-land.
As part of the wind up activities to the big day Dom & Marcus, in conjunction with moms & dads, host a hoe down. Held at McConnell House in Franklin, TN, this building is an historic jail built in the early 1990s. The band was amazing with a repertoire ranging from Led Zeppelin to more traditional country sounds.

Taking a break from the hub bub, I tried my hand at hand held low light shooting.

Smoke

No self respecting set of images is complete without a puff of smoke.
Snooted flash, high beam flashlight, silver reflector, ISO 6400, f8, 1/250.
4 incense sticks stuck in a potato for stability, shoot until the rain forced me inside.
Add a bit of luck & the stew is done.
