Camera club outing – topic – twirly.
This is an art piece at city hall – a distorted door, etc.
On suggestion of Mark, a fellow clubber, & remembering Freeman Patterson’s penchant for it, I set a long exposure and twirled the camera. Not enough exposure, so I added a flash at the end to brighten things up.
Took a walk in the woods on my way to grandma’s place & stumbled upon this.
On impulse, I kissed her gently & she woke up.
With her affinity for wildlife, we were thinking of moving to never-never land, but then she started looking for that apple again. 😉

Stopped at Remic Rapids in the Ottawa river on the way to the season opener for the camera club. These stone sculptures, originally done every year by John Félice Ceprano (since deceased), are replaced every year by local folks looking to replicate (& honor) his work. Light painting on the front rocks. The foggy night adds to the ambiance.
Pride Day (7 photos).
The sun was warm, the folks friendly & in high spirits.
A lot of changes in recent times. Seems every change comes with the pioneers who suffer the barbs of the narrow minded. Those who follow get a break and add to the chorus until everyone wonders what the fuss was all about.
