Leaf

Leaf

This is Ottawa’s new urban planning map for Osgoode South.
Well, I borrowed the idea from Douglas, who did a much better job.

Snow looking

Snow looking

Took a walk in the woods on my way to grandma’s place & stumbled upon this.
On impulse, I kissed her gently & she woke up.
With her affinity for wildlife, we were thinking of moving to never-never land, but then she started looking for that apple again.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Maman

Maman

A beautiful warm, sunny September day. No clouds, not a hint of rain.
Mamman, the spider outside the National Gallery, has an egg sack hanging under her belly. A close up from beneath reveals a sinister Spiderman image.
Gotta love art that keeps you looking.

Day 271 of 365

The Phoenix

The Phoenix

Cassandra and Mike put the finishing touches on “The Phoenix”, an installation on the side of Charlie’s Groceteria in Hintonburg. They’re off to Dawson College in Montreal next week to start a new phase – 3 years of upgrading the skill set.

Waiting for the bus

Waiting for the bus

Cassandra & Mike have just finished their part of a mural in Gatineau. It was done in collaboration with some other artists to grace the wall of a bus access ramp.
Here, our heroes await the local bus and wonder if itโ€™s on time โ€“ or ever going to arrive.
