Combating cabin fever & winter blahs, we head out on a sunny day to wander the countryside. Stopped for dinner at the Bistro 54 Italiano in beautiful, downtown Perth.

Cardboard Dragon Boats
The first annual Cardboard Dragon Boat Race in support of 7 local charities was held at City Hall today. Majic 100.3 broadcast the BBQ & race.
Here, the “City of Ottawa” gets edged out by the “Show Boat” team to finish dead last.

Used lessons learned to set up the shot (external flash on TTL, ISO to 500, slow the shutter to allow ambient light) and asked a pretty girl in the next booth to snap
the shutter. All eyes open – not bad.
