A beautiful warm, sunny September day. No clouds, not a hint of rain.
Mamman, the spider outside the National Gallery, has an egg sack hanging under her belly. A close up from beneath reveals a sinister Spiderman image.

Effie has had this snake skin for years.
This detail of part of the skin has faces – I wonder if this is an adaptation thing. Close up, you can see the myriad of small dots that make up the dark color in the pattern.

I believe this is from a python of some sort.

I think this bird like creature came from the Magnolia tree in the garden. Sitting on a translucent light table lit from beneath by a small flash.

Gotta love the ease with which the Nikon flash can be remotely adjusted from the camera – a little trick picked up in lighting class.
