Behind the National Gallery is this thing – One Hundred Foot Line (2008). (The sky is a bit manipulated.)
Didn’t come down in the wind storm, so I guess it’s anchored properly.

The Phoenix

Cassandra and Mike put the finishing touches on “The Phoenix”, an installation on the side of Charlie’s Groceteria in Hintonburg. They’re off to Dawson College in Montreal next week to start a new phase – 3 years of upgrading the skill set.

Grafitti-ing

Cassandra & Mike are part of select few artists who have been painting a mural on the wall of a new bus ramp in Gatineau.
The first of 2 parts of the wall will be finished in a couple of days.

Strange brew

Last class for lighting. Post production at a nearby eatery.
Used lessons learned to set up the shot (external flash on TTL, ISO to 500, slow the shutter to allow ambient light) and asked a pretty girl in the next booth to snap
the shutter. All eyes open – not bad.

This second item is part of the final assignment for lighting class – the magazine cover. Although strictly not an image taken today, it is a creation put together for submission today, so in it goes.
