Enjoying a great meal on the patio of a new-found cafe when the clouds rolled in and spattered a bit of the ol’ wet stuff. Evening sun popped out to provide a stark contrast with the receding clouds.
The newly opened Savoy on the site of the former Newport Restaurant, home of Moe’s World Famous Elvis Sighting Society .
Two days after the Boston Marathon bombs, we’re sitting in Moe’s World Famous Newport Restaurant – home of some great pizza.
Elvis and Moe share a moment on the wall while a news update on the TV informs the public that no arrests have been made. Times were different in Elvis’ day – I think. Gearing up for the final push home. Spent the night in Scranton, PA. A quick sleep &
back in the car, bleary eyed & a bit grumpy.
Lunch time saw us in Watertown, NY. This restaurant was rated 4-star for this town.
Ended up elsewhere, but I liked the architecture.
