Parthenon
On tour in Nashville. This reproduction of the Parthenon is a great attraction.
Built for the 1897 fair of plaster, wood & brick, it was replaced by concrete between 1925 & 1931,
and is a full scale replica of the Athenian original.
Monkeyshines
Getting a head start on next week’s assignment for lighting class as I will be missing it.
Repro-graphics is the theme, so reproduced this canvas by Cassandra. It hangs in the music room to inspire the monkeyshines.
The lighting course started off a bit slow, but exposure to all the aspects of studio
lighting should come in handy down the road should I ever pursue any of the material covered and go on to become a world renowned photographer pursued by the rich and famous to have their portraits done or sent on luxury assignments to far reaching exotic locales by an overly generous magazine. 😉
