The Community Organization AGM was last night.
Dr. Pete Dang, Project Director of the Bio Diversity Conservancy spoke about the project to restore the sand dunes in Pinhey forest (right near me).
The dunes, desert like, see day time highs of up to 70 degrees F at surface level and are home to some unique life forms. In the past 60 years or so, the dunes shrank from about 70 hectares to today’s 3 or 4.
