On Day 249, I published a picture of Scruffy, one of Cassandra’s cats.
This is one of the kittens that had just been born at the time.
Cassandra dropped off 3 cats for a visit when she needed to travel. That was over a year ago. They have already been featured and are now part of our household. Since then, she has taken in 4 new street cats – one of which just had 3 kittens.
This is Scruffy, the first stray to be adopted.
The 4th (or 1st) in a series of cats that Cassandra has dropped off for a visit & ended up staying.
He’s not only photogenic, he’s a ham.
Cashing in on another of the cat family that hangs out here looking for food and a place to sleep. Interesting how they always look so comfortable in the most
Billy the cat
In 1983, when we moved here, Billy the cat moved in, too.
When she passed on, I made this marker. At the time (wow, almost 30 years), it was
stained & varnished & new looking. Nothing lasts forever.
Christmas eve day. Busy, last minute stuff. Caught the cats doing cat stuff, which is usually lounging about, checking things out from on high or napping.
So, cashed in another cat chip (got 4 do choose from).
Learning something, though. I’ve had this camera for 4 years & just found out I can adjust the intensity of the pop up flash. Good thing cats are patient or the flash testing would have killed the shot.
On the hustle all day, then directly to a dinner party.
Had to cash in a reserve chip – one of the cats.
