A warm spell for the past two days has created some interesting fog. Down by the crick it was even more dense.
Yesterday (today in blog terms) was a write-off – shot-wise. Decided to play, so went to see The Hobbit, then off to dinner at a friend’s place.
This, however, was decided yesterday as the shot-of-the-day, so did it this morning in my sleep. This cattail, collected from the last location, reminds me of those exploding fruit shots.
Now for today’s challenge, to be posted tomorrow.
Following a new regime of just waiting until a picture presents itself. Not creative in the concept, but in the execution. And, of course, a little Photoshopping to help with the finishing touches.
I don’t rely on Photoshop to perform miracles unless that’s the intent for the get-go. Things work out best when the image is captured right in the first place.
Anyway, at the end of a day with alternating cloud and more cloud, I found myself at the end of a dirt (snow covered) road lined with drainage ditches. Ready to turn for home, the sun broke out for about 10 minutes to light up a row of bulrushes. Amazing how they take the abuse of winter winds and snow and still look like this.
