A short visit to city hall today “taking care of business”. On the way out, a quick shot of the view towards Place Bell on Elgin St.
Place Bell is one of the tallest buildings in Ottawa at 27 stories. It was built by Olympia and York in 1971 as the Ottawa headquarters of Bell Canada, still the building’s largest tenant.
The spire seen in front sits on top of the old Ottawa Normal School. It is now Ottawa City Hall’s heritage building, containing the offices of the Mayor and members of Council.
Awsome shot!
